TECHNICAL TRAINING
Training services are usually developed in conjunction with the technical manual.
The workbooks include the technical information that is found in the manual, but present
it in a manner suitable for training. Typical training deliverables may include the
following:
- Course Outline and Training Plan
- Instructor's Guide
- Student Workbooks
- Pocket Guides
- Job Aids
- Certificates of Completion
Training programs are developed according to the required automotive specifications and
address the desired audience. Typically, courses are developed for operators and the
electrical and mechanical skilled trades. Training presentations are approximately 50/50
classroom/hands-on and usually occur at the end-user's plant. The final presentation may
be provided as one of the following:
- Total Population Training (TPT)
- Train-The-Trainer (T3)
- Computer-Based Training (CBT).
